Dream Treats - Match Sweets is a new game from Disney. Players progress through over 100 levels guided by famous Disney characters including Buzz Lightyear, Belle and Mickey Mouse. The object of the game is to feed hungry diners that want dessert.
You do this by matching groups of desserts on a grid. The game is set across Disneyland and Disneyworld's many resort restaurants and cafes. Each setting provides challenges that progress in difficulty and is presented by a different character.
Each character has a special ability that players unlock so that they can complete the level. Other power ups are available to unlock throughout the game. As usual, levels get harder as the player progresses through the game, with limits on the amount of moves you have to complete each challenge.
A nifty in game feature is the ability to buy, using in game currency or in app purchases, new clothes for your diners. All clothes are Disney branded and feature popular characters including Winnie the Pooh and the aliens from Toy Story. Even better, by taking selfies within the app or linking to your personal Facebook account, you can superimpose the faces of your family and friends over your diners.
After completing certain levels, you get souvenir photos taken with Disney stars and these can include you and your friends. The souvenirs can then be shared, via email or social media, to encourage other people to play the game.
Dream Treats - Match Sweets is available for Android, Apple, Windows and Amazon devices. It is free with optional in app purchases from £0.77 to £77.69 each. It requires 56MB of storage device to download and install. The game has a content rating of PEGI 3, meaning it is suitable for children age 3 years and older. While linking to social networks is encouraged in the game, this feature can be ignored.
